Welcome to Aquarius Peak Adventure.
Sandhan Valley is a beautiful valley situated in the Western Ghats near Ratangad. Also known as the Valley Of Shadows as the major portion of the valley doesnt allow the sun rays to come in. This naturally carved valley is 200 feet deep and approximately 2kms long. Located near beautiful Bhandardara region, it is also surrounded by Alang, Madan, Kulang, Kalsubai, Ratangad and Ajoba forts. Along with breathtaking sights, Sandhan Valley also offers adventure seekers a chance to rappel down patches to reach its base.

Itinerary :
Day 0:
Catch the CST-Kasara train as per the timings mentioned.
10:50 pm – CST.
10:57 pm – Byculla.
11:05 pm – Dadar.
11:13 pm – Kurla.
11:18 pm – Ghatkopar.
11:34 pm – Thane.
11:57 pm – Dombivali.
12:07 am – Kalyan.
01:18 am – Kasara.
Day 1:
01:30 am – Depart to Samrad by a Private Vehicle
04:00 am – Reach Samrad. Proceed for some rest and breakfast.
07:00 am – Move towards the base exploring Sandhan Valley. Rappel down a few patches. Lunch mid way. (The route few small rappelling patches, the biggest one being 40-50ft approx and we have to go through water upto 4-5ft deep for approximately 30 meters on the way. This only adds to the thrill of the whole exploration.)
05:30 pm – Reach the base.
Settle at the base followed by talks, food and campfire.
End the day by a natural swimming pool under the open sky.
Day 2:
06:30 am – Wake Up Call. Breakfast at the base.
08:00 am – Start trekking towards Dehene.
11:00 am – Reach Dehne. Lunch in Dehene.
02:00 pm – Move towards Asangaon.
04:00 pm – Reach Asangaon Station.
07:00 pm – Reach Dadar (Tentative).

The night is going to be cold so do come prepared if not renting a sleeping bag. We suggest a yoga mat and something to cover yourself should be good enough.
